2006 Emmy® Nomination

On Thursday, August 3, 2006 - Bluewire Media was nominated for two Emmy Awards through the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Mid-Atlantic Chapter.  Bluewire Media was honored in the ARTS PROGRAM OR SPECIAL CATEGORY for “Live at the Bubba Mac Shack” – Rolling Fork Review show. This is special episode of Live at the Bubba Mac featuring performances and interviews with musical legends Levon Helm (The Band), Hubert Sumlin, Bob Margolin among others along with musical performances by the Bubba Mac Blues Band.

Blue Wire Media was also nominated for a second Emmy in the HISTORIC/CULTURAL- PROGRAM OR SPECIAL and ARTS PROGRAM OR SPECIAL categories. They were nominated for the Philadelphia Museum of Art and A World of Discovery, which takes a  look at the Museum's permanent collections through the eyes of artists, visitors and Museum curators.
